Picture A Day: Day 1

What?  A picture a day?  That is some goal and one I probably will not be able to complete, but I'm giving it a try.  I'm challenging myself to take a picture each and every day, at least one, and post it to my blog, for three consecutive months.

The children are older and their milestones are fewer and farther between so the camera is stashed away until a worthy event occurs. I dig the camera out and take obligatory pictures of the a fore mentioned event, but the daily grind has been forgotten. Our daily life is neglected in terms of photos and for the next three months I'm going to try to change that.  We just go on and forget to pause and reflect.  I am going to try and capture snip its of our days and post a picture.

I'm sure the monotony of doing this will begin to drag, but at least my camera will be taken out more and pictures will be taken at a more consistent rate.

So Day 1 here it goes:
