Fooled
March has fooled me once again. I believed that since it was March, spring was close and we would be over sickness. Such is not the case. All four are down for the count, sporting high fevers. The kind of sickness that creates many tears, ruby cheeks, glassy eyes, and lack of sleep for all involved. I struggle to cuddle and meet each of their many needs while sick. They want to be held and the sickness taken away. I do my best to hold each of them, comfort them, and ease their discomfort.

Despite caring for the sick children we were able to accomplish something this past weekend. The drab bathroom was turned into a cheery, monkey themed one. The bright lemony yellow walls are cheerful and bring smiles to our faces upon entering. We let the kids, of course, help pick out the shade of yellow. Having that involvement makes their bathroom more meaningful for them.
Zane is faring the best, having had only a fever for a little over a day. He is back to being all smiles, and even met a very cute friend this weekend. Mirrors and babies are just too cute!
I am optimistic that Wednesday brings one more sweet child out from under the blanket of sickness and we continue to get better as the week progresses.

So sorry to read they're all sick. It's always awful seeing your child sick, but having four at once has to be a nightmare. I'm home today with Olivia. She has strep, but is fairing well. I hope your crew are all well soon. The bathroom looks teriffic!
