This week was a long one. Most weeks I can name hand fulls of
stick out moments. Moments, that melt my heart the first time around and when writing/talking about them bring tears and gigantic smiles to my face. Not this week, there were not many. I got sick with strep, fever, chills, and I was miserable. The children, feeling off and not themselves, were unforgiving. Fighting, taunting, and demanding just touches the tip of the ice berg. I cried, they cried. The minuets seemed like hours when my fever peaked.
There were very few pictures taken, but the few that were are my bright spots. My boys, smiling, dawning matching gray sweats and navy blue shirts. It makes me smile and melts away the long week.

Violette sporting her first set of pigtails. Another bright spot.

Uploading these makes the memories of sickness fade into the wonderfulness of beautiful children. We will have more of these weeks and I will focus on my bright spots, my children to get me through them.
