Zoo Day

Mid 70's, sunny and beautiful was the weather of June 30th. The perfect day for a trip to the Toledo Zoo. It was a last minute decision made Tuesday evening to go after reviewing the weather forecast. We met one of my neighbors there and had a wonderful time.

It was surprising the amount of crowds present. Being so close to the zoo we have the opportunity to go several times a year and I have never seen as many people as we saw on Wednesday. Everyone must have thought the same as I about it being the perfect weather for a trip to the zoo.






We actually spent almost four hours there and had a lovely picnic lunch. We hit up the train and got some cotton candy (a must EVERY TIME we go) and left around 2pm. The drive home was peaceful, as every child fell asleep within minutes. All in all in very nice day!
