Thursday, Noelle, Max, Charlotte and I took a trip to the Zoo. It was a success on multiple levels, from the weather to unbelievably well behaved children. The pure excitement permanently planted upon Noelle's face was breathless. To view the world for the first time through a two year old's eyes is remarkable.
The day before the trip it was all she could talk about. While conversing about the animals we would see, she would ask, "Peas talk about more animals Mommy." if I took a pause at all. Thursday morning she woke and the Zoo was the only thing on her mind. Unfortunately, while driving there I had to make a quick stop. I pulled into a gas station and Noelle exclaimed, "We here, I see animals!".
The carousel, train ride, and many exhibits were a big hit and we will be returning many times this summer.

I'm jealouse you got to go to the Toledo Zoo! We had a family trip planned to go there last year with all of Andy's family and it didn't happen. Maybe we can get together this summer and take the kids!
