Packing In Fall Fun

Fall is my favorite, and it seems the majority of people's favorite time of year. The muggy heat of summer dissipates and is replaced with crisp coolness of sweater/sweatshirt weather. Cider, apples, pumpkins, captivating leave colors, football, wagon rides, straw, corn mazes, the joys of fall are continuous.

We are trying to do a lot before the new baby arrives with the children. Which this baby can come at any time. I am a hefty 4 1/2cm dilated, so labor is an unfortunate possibility as well. On the bright side this little baby is a really good size and will be my biggest at birth!! A hefty, chubby little baby is always a grand thing!

Back to the wonderfulness of Fall and our couple of fun activities. Saturday, our neighbor called in the afternoon and asked us to join them at the local apple picking place. We jumped at the invitation and had a wonderful afternoon picking apples and enjoying the wagon ride.

Monday we met up with our playgroup at a local farm for some more fall fun. They have a large corn box that was a huge hit. Also a petting zoo and straw maze, all geared towards younger children. Noelle, Max, and Violette each picked out a pumpkin too. Not too shabby for a Monday morning!

Tomorrow, Thursday, Max has a big appointment getting his arm x-rayed and hopefully having the cast removed! I think Tom and I are more excited because he has done wonderfully with the cast. The occasional itchiness has been the only problem we have encountered.

Today was such a beautiful day and I got out the camera to document Max's last full day with the cast.
