End Of A School Year

Oh blog, you have been neglected once again.  This time because of a lack of a computer during the day.  The cat decided to knock my laptop off the table and it ceases to exist.  With tablet, ipad, and smart phones it's been a low priority.  I'll be back to blogging regularly, eventually.

In the mean time Max graduated from Thursday School and Noelle has ended her first grade year.  Max's school put on a fabulous little program with all children singing songs.  Max even went up the microphone, by himself and preformed the prayer.  Lighting did not strike and he impressed us all!  He is ready for Kindergarten, and has expressed much excitement for the upcoming year.  I'm so proud of my five year old!

Noelle has ended first grade with nothing less than a stellar report from her teacher.  Her reading is phenomenal, testing way above her grade level, and her writing skills marvel those of a fourth grader.  She was an attentive and sharp first grader, the teacher telling us over and over how quickly she picked up on things and her memory is very strong.  We knew that, she never forgets anything we tell her.  Ever.  At home she begs for me to teach her new things.  In this first week of summer vacation, I just want to relax!  She will forever be our studious child, wanting and needing to fill her mind with as much knowledge as possible.

For now that is all.  I have much more to update about, including a trip to St. Clair, a memorial for my Uncle in Presque Isle, and losing of a pacifier and diapers for good, transition into bunk bed, and fun in the sun.

Until next time, goodnight!  I've been getting up for the last two week at 4:50am to run and in my old age, this is rough, and I'm tired!
