As promised here are a few ultrasound pictures of our little boy. I hope you enjoy! This is a picture of the face and he has his hand up by the his head.

Here is another profile of his face and his stomach arching upwards.
since we went to the boat races in St. Clair and she was able to learn about the crazy new flying machines she has been hooked! We had to print off pictures of Helicopters and at least twice a day she requests that we color them. Every time she steps foot outside she immediately directs her attention to the sky, searching anxiously to glimpse a view of one. Luckily, we do see a few outside. This is her first real obsession with something and Tom and I get a real kick out of it when she says "Helicoper" ten times while looking completely serious and staring intently into our faces. I'm sure it's the first of many things that will catch her eye and make a daily appearance in our lives, but for now we are constantly talking about Helicopters!
and wouldn't leave him alone the entire time. I became a distant figure and Alex was the only one allowed to take her for a walk, or push the shopping cart. She even wanted "Uncle" to change her diaper, but for some odd reason Alex refused to do that! Whenever Alex tried to play a video game Noelle would sit right between her arms and try very hard to get his attention. Uncle Alex also brought her some G.I Joe
herself to you.
Last Tuesday we had some visitors come over and spend time with us. My friend Karen and her three kids came over to play. Noelle really enjoyed having Norah and Kitty over. Kitty (only four months younger than Noelle) and Noelle didn't really "play" together, they basically watched each other and did their own thing. Karen has a beautiful baby boy, Michael, who is only a month old. Noelle was very interested in the baby and loved to point at him and say "baby" a lot. She loves babies and I'm really hoping that bodes well when our second one comes along.
Noelle isn't the best conversationalist, although her vocabulary is expanding rapidly, she still doesn't cut it. We arrived at Stacy's house around 1pm. I was planning on visiting some family in Presque Isle so we got back into the car at 2:30pm. We had dinner at my Aunt's house. Noelle and her second cousin's Raegan, 3, and Owinn, 6 months, enjoyed the hot tub (which was actually pretty cool at the time) while dinner was being prepared. Being an extreme water lover, Noelle did not want to get out of the hot tub for anything. She also was able to go into Grand Lake for the first time. She loved walking in the shallow water and throwing rocks into the water. The splash that was produced when a rock was thrown was very exciting and a laugh came every time. It was really wonderful to see
my Aunt Diane and Uncle Phil and my cousin and his family. We haven't seen them since Thanksgiving weekend, and it was long overdue. I was also able to visit with a family that I babysat for all during high school. The two girls were in my wedding and hold a special place in my heart and I really enjoyed seeing them.
tons of people come to watch. Aunt CeeCee was there and took Noelle into the river to swim. She loved watching the very loud boats go by and tried to be louder than them. She also learned what a helicopter is and although it sounds more like "helly-opper". I was a little scared that she would be afraid of the boats because they are so loud and you can't talk while they go by, but she loved them! We didn't get to see the really big and fast boats race because Noelle decided that she was going to lay down on the floor, at that point we thought it best to make the 2 hour drive back while she was ready for a nap.
